Happy Monday! I hope all of you and a great weekend 🙂 We sure did! Saturday was spent recovering from Atlanta and putting together a ton of IKEA furniture. I hate those blasted wrench things but the result was worth it. I can’t wait to share those projects with you soon!
Yesterday was an amazing and low key Easter. Emmalyne and Bryn were really excited to see that the Easter Bunny made a pit stop at our house and were tearing into the baskets in no time at all.
The rest of the morning was spent making yummy food for Easter dinner, meal prepping a bit for the week, and relaxing as a family before friends came over. Our BFFs from across the street came with their 2 girls so we had 4 sweet girls tearing up the house and yard looking for Easter eggs and great adult friends to hang out with. My two great friends from school also came over so it was nice to commiserate with them about starting clinicals. EEK!
Any-who … it was a great weekend but I am keeping this short and sweet because today is my first day of rotations. I am a huge mix of emotions ranging from crazy excited to extremely anxious/nervous. I had a great pep talk with one of the graduates in the class above me last night which helped calm my nerves a bit and she gave me some insight into my rotation site which was really helpful. I would appreciate any positive thoughts/prayers though today! This is a huge step in my training and I could use some extra help 😉
Happy Monday! Make it a great week 🙂
