Another week is over and I am one step closer to my due date … 70 days from tomorrow. YIKES. This week was a great week in workouts. I am definitely finding myself starting to run less and walk more but I am still logging some running miles which makes me feel good. I am going to be a cognizant effort to start slowing my pace down this next week. I am thinking I can run further if I start running a little slower 😉
MONDAY: 2.6 mile walk with Em and the dogs
THURSDAY: 3 mile walk with Em & dogs + Prenatal Yoga Class
SATURDAY: 2 mile walk with Em and dogs
TOTAL MILES: 20!
STRENGTH: 3 workouts
YOGA: 1 class
On Thursday I shared my favorite pregnancy workouts and I managed to get all 4 of them in this week. I hit my goal of running 3 days, walking the dogs every day, 3 strength sessions, and 1 yoga class. I feel like this diversity of workouts is what works best for me right now. The 3 days of strictly walking give my legs the break they need from running and then I am ready to hit the treadmill the next day. I don’t feel overly sore and my energy levels are decent so so far this is working for me!
We have a pretty busy weekend ahead of us with a birthday party tonight and a baby shower for a friend tomorrow. Not to mention Packers’ football 😉 Happy Saturday!
