The Gabrialla maternity support belt provides a medium level of support and is secured by velcro. You basically velcro it under your belly and then secure two more straps towards your back (Katie has a video on how to put it on!). The belt is supposed to provide both abdominal and back support and helps to promote proper posture. It’s definitely a must have for running while pregnant for me!
Why I love the Gabrialla Maternity Support Belt:
- Cost: On Amazon, the price is exceptionally reasonable. You can get it for as low as $30.
- Support: For me, it provides an adequate amount of support. I am still running at 29 weeks pregnant which makes my heart happy. I was starting to deal with round ligament pain more and more on my runs and this has helped substantially. I also feel like it provides a good amount of back support as well.
- Easy to use. It is pretty simple to put on. Also, because it secures with velcro, you can adjust how tight it is for a customized level of support.
I am actually borrowing my Gabrialla from my friend Heather. Heather had her second daughter in March and wore it throughout her pregnancy and was running until the end. Then Leslie Ann used it and worked out until the day she went into labor. All three of us carried our babies differently but all of us LOVE the Gabrialla.
SO – if you’re pregnant, or thinking about becoming pregnant, consider getting the Gabrialla. I am not sure if I would be comfortably running at this point without it. I definitely wouldn’t be running at the pace I am without it. Here’s to hoping it carries me all the way to the end 🙂
Disclosure: I was not asked to review this product and my friend bought it herself. I just REALLY like it and wanted to share my love with you all and hopefully help another preggo out 🙂
