I’ve been meaning to share my favorite maternity fashion pieces with you guys for awhile now but just never got around to it. Luckily, here in the Deep South we were shorts until October so hopefully some of you still find these summer fashion pieces helpful. I have been pretty much exclusively in maternity bottoms since about 14-15 weeks. When it comes to maternity clothes, I try to find a balance between spending the money on them without going TOO crazy. I have to say that when I was pregnant with Em I waited longer to embrace maternity fashions without realizing how much more comfortable, and flattering, maternity clothes are!
Also, I have relatively narrow hips when I am not pregnant but they expand pretty quickly once I am therefore none of my regular clothes go past them. I have been living in either maternity shorts or maxi skirts throughout the summer and have loved it!
Also, I included some of my favorite maternity basics. These are the items I wear almost everyday. I bought the camis when I was pregnant with Em and they are still working for me. In fact, I wore them non-pregnant as well. I also have the Liz Lange t-shirts in a variety of colors and wear them multiple times a week. I just ordered the Old Navy tanks to help supplement the fact that my belly is starting to poke out from beneath my non-maternity ones and that’s just not attractive on anyone 😉 The Gap leggings are going to be a fall favorite but right now I just wear them around the house because they are so flipping comfortable.

If you’ve been pregnant, what is one piece of maternity clothes you couldn’t live without?
