I can’t believe it’s Friday already! I think it’s because it was a short work week for Chris since he had Monday and Tuesday off for Christmas. Either way, the weekend sure snuck up on me! Even with Christmas this week I was able to sneak in some solid workouts and I also spent some time editing on the blog. Christmas Eve morning I headed out to a detox yoga class at Awakening Yoga Studio. I love Lisa and her entire family was there Monday sweating it out with us. It was a great way to start the holiday. When I got home I did a CrossFit WOD in the garage.
I took Tuesday as a rest day and enjoyed Christmas with my family 🙂
My half-marathon training plan called for a 35 minute tempo run. I averaged 8:54/mile and am thrilled. At home I did a WOD of 20 minutes AMRAP of:
5 push ups
10 wall balls
15 KB swings
My tush was tired.
An easy 3 miles on the treadmill. Had to hop off at 1.5 miles to go change Em’s diaper in the nursery but still averaged 9:46/mile. My WOD was:
Not sure what I am going to do today. Might do a WOD. Might run 3 miles. Might cross train. Going to go with the flow. No mater what I am going to sweat 😉
Our best friend Mike is coming into town today. He is moving here in a month so we are pretty excited! We decided last night that he should spend New Year’s in Savannah with us. Chris and Mike together again = a scary thought for me but a fun one!
