Happy Saturday everyone! Today was a fabulous day full of family, friends, and firsts 🙂
Rudi’s whole wheat English muffin with flax, PB, and jam. Strawberries and a banana. I had to make something fast because baby girl was stirring 🙂
The hubs and I knocked out our errands early in the morning. We went to the PX (Army Walmart), got his hair cut, and went to the commissary (Army grocery store). We had just enough time when we got home to shower and eat lunch before our afternoon adventures.
More of the same … turkey sandwich on whole wheat with spinach, cheese, and mustard. Carrots on the side. I had to eat it one handed because I was feeding the baby at the same time. Haha.
Our afternoon was spent going to the pumpkin patch with our little pumpkin. We went with our neighbors and new friends Paul and Shannon. It was a beautiful day in the low 70’s … perfect weather for picking pumpkins. The patch was a scenic 20 minute drive from our house. It was super cute and a ton of fun! Happy Hollows Pumpkin Patch is in Crocker, MO … I highly recommend it if you’re in the area!

On our way home we stumbled upon a street fair in downtown Waynesville. We parked and as I went to get Emmie out of her carseat I realized she had pooped through her outfit. And it was effectively on me too. I guess I am a real mom now huh? LOL
Needless to say, we packed back up and ran home. I changed and Chris ‘babysat’ so Shannon and I could go back to the street fair. It was super cute and I got a new headband for the Emster. We also found out that there is a farmer’s market there on Tuesdays and Saturdays! Score!
Unfortunately the guys wanted KFC for dinner … blah. I had to make due. I totally forgot to photograph it though. Oops.
Today was just one of those days where you are extra thankful and happy and blessed. I love my little family. I couldn’t imagine my life without Chris or Emmalyne … and I have only known her for 9 days 🙂
Enjoy your Saturday night … I am off to snuggle my pumpkin 🙂
