It’s official … we are PREGNANT! And by we, I obviously mean I, but you get the drift 🙂 Chris and I are over the moon and cannot wait to meet our precious baby bundle in October. It has been rather difficult so far. For those of you who are not aware, I had to withdraw from my nursing program due to extreme extreme sickness. I was basically unable to get out of bed for two weeks and lost over 10 pounds. I trust that everything is in God’s hands though and I am at peace with things. Luckily with a lot of rest, and TLC, it seems my doctors and I have gotten things under control but I need to take it easy through my first trimester to really gauge how things are going.
Chris and I found out when he was on his way back to his second “home” in Afghanistan and have kept the news to just family and a few friends the last couple weeks. However, I got to hear/see Baby G’s heartbeat 2 weeks ago and the doctors said that once you can do that you’re pretty much in the clear so here we are! We are not completely “out of the woods” yet but trust in our family and friends to support us with whatever the future brings. Besides being sick and EXTREMELY fatigued things have been going along swimmingly haha.
I stole this from my friend Rachel and plan to keep it updated throughout the pregnancy. I think it would be fun to look back through once Baby G makes their grand entrance so here we go:
How far along? 8 weeks, 2 days
